Osmanabad Disaster Management Authority

         The DDMP of osmanabad was prepared with the advice of district collectors and district stakeholders. DDMPs need to be reviewed and updated every year. “The substantial reduction of disaster risk and losses in lives, livelihoods and health and in the economic, physical, social, cultural and environmental assets of persons, businesses, communities and countries” is the expected outcome and goal of the Sendai Framework for Disaster Risk Reduction 2015–2030 which was adopted at the Third United Nations World Conference on Disaster Risk Reduction held in March 2015, at Sendai, Japan. The realization of this outcome requires a strong commitment in every country at all levels in the implementation and follow-up of the Sendai Framework for Disaster Risk Reduction for the creation of a conducive and enabling environment.
